We’re a lively church based in Penge, South London. Men, Women and Children of all ages, cultures and walks of life are part of our congregation. We are united by our shared love for Jesus, and our desire to follow him in everything we do. We gather corporately every Sunday at 10:30am at our building on Green Lane for a time of sung worship, teaching and ministry.

FREE PARKING There is plenty of free parking in the streets that surround our church building and the single yellow lines are suspended on Sundays. We also have a small car park at the rear of our building. BUSES The 75, 194 & 356 all stop directly outside our building. Other routes available which stop on Penge High Street 0.3 miles away are: 176, 197, 227, 354, 358. Worship & Services

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAYS: When you arrive you will be greeted by our welcome team who will be able to answer any questions you may have and help you to connect with all that’s available at Christ Central. We have excellent Sunday school facilities for children as we consider their experience of church to be as important as that of the adults. We are all at different places in our journey and we want to provide an environment where you can feel comfortable to explore faith at your own pace. Our main aim is to encounter God and learn how to follow Him better – anything that helps us do that is in! During the services we want to express our love to God, so individuals often pray or sing out loud, raise their hands or share what they think God is saying to us.

Friday evening youth club for ages 11+. You do not have to come to church to come along to youth club, everyone is welcome.

Local Outreach & Community Activities
The Alpha Course: Thursdays from 7:30pm-9:30pm at Church.
The Alpha Course is a safe place to ask questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no-pressure environment.
Alpha takes place across eight sessions with the option to attend an extra Saturday session in the middle.
Each session includes food, a short talk, and a discussion at the end.

Groups:
We are passionate about helping people deepen their walk with God and relationships with one another. We believe that discipleship happens most effectively in the context of community and therefore want to encourage everyone who calls Christ Central
Church their home to belong to a group. Groups are a great place to make new friendships, to build the relationships that are essential to help each one of us to grow as a follower of Jesus, to join us in our adventure and to have fun!

We have a flourishing kids ministry that runs both on Sunday mornings and midweek:
Sundays from 11am-12:30pm: Creche – Age 0–2, Gems – Age 3–4 (pre-school), Salties – Age 4–7, Beacons – Age 8–11, Youth – Age 11+.
Midweek: CY Youth on Fridays: 18:30 to 20:30 for ages 11–15. You do not have to come to church to come along to club, everyone is welcome!
YOUTH BAND: Fridays from 6:30pm.
TUESDAY CLUB: Tuesdays (fortnightly/term time): 18:30 – 20:30. Meet fortnightly on Tuesday evenings for activities. For children aged 7–11.
MORNING STARS: Wednesday (term time): 10:00 – 11:30. Our free toddler group for children aged 0–4.
